The Haseya Advocate Program provides direct services to victims of domestic violence and sexual assault in El Paso County, Colorado.
Financial Assistance to Victims provides modest financial support to cover the costs of emergency food, clothing, emergency hotel stays, transportation to victims that are fleeing.

A volunteer working with Haseya can gain a great experience and can also develop their resume. Red Wind can be a reference for successful volunteers. Check out our current volunteer opportunities below.
Haseya provides a local advocacy response for Native American victims of domestic violence and sexual assault. The volunteer will participate in providing advocacy to victims/survivors. The volunteer will work cooperatively with Haseya. Red Wind will provide training and supervision.
- The Volunteer Advocate will work a minimum of 12 hours per week and is asked to commit to a minimum of 6 months. Scheduling can be flexible.
Women’s Education Group Facilitator
Haseya provides a weekly women’s education group for Native survivors of domestic violence and sexual violence. The volunteer would be placed on a scheduled shared across 3 people to make accommodation easier for everyone. Haseya Advocate Program staff will provide training and will periodically co-facilitate to help the volunteer develop their skills.
- The Volunteer Facilitator is asked to commit to a minimum of 6 months, and be on the schedule once each month.
